Vans West vs. East (and Europe) Fourty-Four Hi Pack







Created under the pretense of an innovative cupsole sneaker with a toned down profile, the Vans Fourty-Four Hi sees itself in the middle of a multi-party collaboration to kick things off for spring 2009. Bringing on-board West Coast representatives Crooks & Castles (and mystery shop), East Coast crew 5Boro of New York (and mystery shop) City and Danny Wainwright of the UK, a total of five models can be seen in a West vs. East vs. Europe affair. Availability will be exclusive to each coasts while the arguably hottest joint via Danny Wainwright will be available to all starting this month.

Air Jordan I/ HI/ Blue Sapphire


The Blue Sapphire and Neon Turqoise pair scheduled to be released in the US on March 14th, 2009 looks to have had a material change from nylon to patent leather. Above is the pair that should be hitting select Jordan retailers in March....the later (sample) will no doubt hit the Bay sooner or later.

Word on the streets is that Jordan Brand will re-release the “True Blue” Air Jordan 3 this year. Rumors about JB dropping gems has been floating around since the beginning of January and confirmed by very reliable sources.

It’s been said the True Blues will not release in a pack and will be a general release (as of right now).

With the NBA All Star game fast approaching, you can expect to see some shoes inspired by the event. Here we feature a pair of Nike Foamposite Lites which have been seeing plenty of action lately.Recently we saw player exclusives for some NBA All Stars including Steve Nash, Caron Butler, and David West.

Here we feature one of the latest designs, which sports a color palette to match the jerseys of the Eastern Conference All Stars. The highlight of the shoe is the gradient design which gradually fades from dark to light. The lacing area and tongue also feature a black design. Look for them to release at House of Hoops locations as the All Star game approaches. Via SC.

Nike Hyperdunk - All Star Game 2009





here we feature two colorways in the Nike Hyperdunk which jumped onto the scene during the summer months of 2008. One features a predominantly blue design to match the jerseys of the Eastern Conference All Stars while the other features a red design for the West. The blue version sports a more interesting design as the upper features a gradient effect. No word yet as to a public release but we will keep you guys notified.

Nike Air Foamposite Eggplant Footaction Release




After the success of its first release, Footaction is again making this incredible shoe available for sneaker fanatics whom for the most far-off reason failed to cop this early on. Featuring an icy bottom, an upper with a unique eggplant color scheme and design, and the ever reliable Foamposite Technology, “eggplant” is surely a must-buy. Be on the alert as this sneaker hits the retail stores on the 5th of February for the price of $200.

Casio G-Shock Collaborations: DQM & LRG



Having seen a rise amongst the sea of watchmakers the past couple of years, Casio remains a top pick in the streetwear industry. Reflecting a timeless spirit alongside simple yet popular innovation, their G-Shock collection picks up where they left off in 2009, with two new collaborations for the Spring/Summer season. Selected for a second go round, LRG brings their design efforts into a three color selection featuring a complete aquamarine colorway with red and white accenting, alongside signature nature related graphics of course. The DQM timepiece reflects a two-tone approach in a black/white color scheme showcasing DQM’s logo on the back plate. Both DW-6900 models should be available at select retailers soon, stay tuned for further developments.
